Refunds & Cancellations – Bed and Breakfast
Thank you for choosing to book with Deanfield. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
The price includes accommodation plus breakfast.
We accept the following forms of payment:
cash, cheque with bankers card, debit cards, credit cards
Please note there is a 2% surcharge for all credit card payments, there is no charge for paying via debit card.
Pets are not permitted.
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 5 days before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount. For this reason you may wish to take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Your accommodation is available to you from midday on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please let us know if you plan to arrive after 9p.m.
Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 10.30am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Your bill for the accommodation and any extras or services taken during your stay is payable on departure.
Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £50 if you did not report this. Waterproof sheets are available on request
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer.

For all bookings we require a deposit of £40 to confirm the booking. We will charge this to your credit or debit card. or You must make sure that this reaches us within 10 days of making the booking. We will send you an email or confirming the booking. The balance is due on departure.

Refunds & Cancellations – Deanfield Coach House, Self-Catering
Thank you for choosing to book with The Coach House, we look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
Well behaved pets are permitted BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT at the cost of £25 per booking/pet/week.
Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If for whatever reason you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance. If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, less £20 administration fee. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. For this reason we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. Your accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please try not to arrive earlier –we will still be busy preparing your accommodation, and won’t be available to welcome you.

We will charge this to your debit or credit card. - please note there is a 2% surcharge for all credit card payments. or cheques are accepted made payable to Deanfield. You must make sure that this reaches us within 10 days of making the booking. We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking and letting you know what the outstanding balance is. The balance must then be paid at least 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. For holidays which are to take place within 6 weeks of making the booking, the full balance is due on booking.
